"We arrived in Mahia and had a week of cold wet southerly weather - so no boating and the sea (NE coast) was too murky for snorkelling.After a few days our adult son ( keen surfer) went off to find swells and my wife and I settled in to sit out the bad weather.Andrew and Aroha’s Bach is snug and warm and with the shade screens down securely we were able to spread out and relax. My wife (artist) painted and we both churned thru the holiday reading and walked the beach each day.In spite of the weather we had a wonderful relaxing time."
