The motel was a good size for our simple needs, and we enjoyed its proximity to the water .. we were able to go for lovely evening strolls, and also walk down to fish. Staff were friendly and facilities were good."

"Lovely house with a lovely view right on the riverside. Birdsong and sunbathing bunnies were our morning wake up. The mountains are an easy drive to get to and Taupo Centre also not too far. There were a couple of things I needed to connect about with the owner and had a reply in good time. They showed support. We would happily stay here again. "

"Beautiful home, modern, clean and super tidy with everything you need. Great location. Handy to the lake for a swim, New World in Tūrangi or the Licorice Cafe 2 mins away. Also wonderful that we could have brought our dog. We didn’t on this trip but would on another. However a note for dog owners is that the property isn’t fully fenced if that’s a consideration for you.Would highly recommend. We’d definitely stay here again.
