"What a lovely dog friendly place to stay, with a small fenced grassed area that is safe to let your dog be loose in. Parks and 11 km of Sandy beach right across the road , take-away choices walking distance few 100 meters down the road. It is quite a main road though so even though the unit has double glazing if you are not used to traffic noise trucks rumbling past might wake you through the night ( or the occasional loud motorbike or boy-racer type ). "What a cute, remote, little place this is! All you hear are the rumble of the waves and look out on the vista of the Bay of Plenty and Whakari/White Island. Highly recommend. If you're in need of supplies, Opotiki is a 10 minute drive away otherwise, enjoy the wilderness. Fully equipped unit to spend time away from it all. "
