The area is quiet, which suited us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."

"Gorgeous apartment straight out of architectural digest. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and museums. We appreciated the tea, milk and chocolate ready for us upon arrival. Perhaps it was the Christmas week but the immediate two block surroundings were deserted after dark, however there is a lively night scene three blocks away. Will happily return."

"Balmoral was perfectly situated up on the hill with great views, close to Sumner for its beach and restaurants.it was also very close to Christchurch and the airport.It was very clean with comfortable beds a nice bathroom with a great shower and the advantage of having a separate loo which wasnt mentioned in the details.The kitchen was clean and functional.it was a lovely spot on the terrace to watch the sun go down or have breakfast."
