Wonderful location
This was an ideal spot. Beautiful setup. You can watch the ocean from your lanai, from the pool or from chairs that are set up on the grass. Quiet area not overrun with other people. Perfect spot to visit other areas of the island.

Great Location
We loved our stay at this property. The rental was clean and had everything that was needed. We thought the location was central to exploring all parts of the island. We liked that it was quieter and less busy than the rest of the island. There were some restaurants, shops, and ice cream within walking distance. It was amazing to have the ocean right outside our room! The beds were comfortable and the property managers answered our questions promptly. It was a great trip!

Owners are committed and responsive. Condo reflects updating and minimalist decor that is comfortable and pleasant. Very close, adjacent, to pool. Lanai is a treat morning, noon and evening. Condo community is friendly and helpful. Central location is terrific. Welcoming tropical flower bouquet, coffee and treats.

A Little Slice of Heaven

We decided to extend our stay in Maui and Taylor was amazing and so helpful! Beautiful property and condo! The beds were so comfortable. We watched the whales and turtles and my goodness the stars!! The condo had everything we needed. I will definitely be back!!

Perfect location and room
We were so happy that we found this condo. The room is set up perfect for a family of 5 adults. We prefer to be in an area that has a more local feel and less of a resort. This place fit that description perfectly. Beautiful views, sea turtles right off the shore, a short walk to a nice beach and a short walk to a small harbor and stores selling locally made souvenirs. We had a couple of questions for the host and Taylor always responded quickly and answered our needs. I highly recommend this place.

Most hospitable host and best vacation place
This is the best vacation place we've had. The host is very hospitable and very responsive to every question or request. The location is convenient to anywhere --- Iao valley, snorkeling at the west and south beaches, ziplining, the Haleakala National Park, and of course the airport. The unit was newly remodeled, and everything is do new and so clean. You wake up seeing the ocean just tens of feet away from your balcony. We're very thankful to the host, and we highly recommend this place!

Perfect, centrally located unit for our family
This gem of a condo is situated just west (5minutes) of Kihei, ~15 minutes from Paia and 25 minutes from Lahaina. It was the perfect spring board for our daily adventures, and a great spot to unwind with a cold drink and a pool swim at the end of day. Taylor was a wonderful host and very communicative. The unit was clean, and well appointed with everything we needed during our stay. Whale watching from the porch and pool deck was a welcomed bonus! We hope to return some day!

Awesome place, property is well maintained & has everything you could possibly need.
Inside is updated with new appliances and very quiet. Outside area gorgeous with very nice pool. Plenty of outdoor chaise lounge chairs overlooking property and bay. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils and appliances. Plenty of linens and towels, even beach towels. There were beach chairs, cooler and an sun umbrella. Laundry room was clean and all the machines worked. Great restaurant within walking distance (great bbq ribs).

Excellent communication with property manager. Everything as described. Really appreciated the extras including beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear available at condo.Kitchen could use a few more items (large pot, pitcher) . Friendly neighbors, short walk to the beach. Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance for dinner but a short drive and easy access to the bus. Beautiful!

Maalaea Kai 109 is amazing! Such a wonderful property. The grounds are beautiful with everything you need to relax and rejuvenate. The property owners were amazing and very responsive to any questions we had. We didn’t have many questions because everything was ready for us when we arrived. This unit is updated and has everything you might need to enjoy and relax. Perfect space for a family of 4! I have traveled many times to Maui and stayed at some pretty nice places but the beds at this property have been the best by far! Very comfortable! We are blessed to have found this place! Aloha!

Outstanding location!
I’ve read reviews that comment on how windy it is in this area. I didn’t think it was any windier than can normally be expected on an ocean. And the location is super convenient, situated between Kahului and Kihei. The public spaces are beautiful and the convenience of being able to walk right out your door to the pool and ocean-side can’t be beat. If I were to make any suggestions at all, I would suggest that the owner add at least one side chair and some artwork. It’s pretty sterile and there is not enough seating for four people in the living room. I would also suggest putting in a curved shower curtain in the master bathroom.

Home Away from Home
We stayed here Nov 8-14th and this little sweet condo was Home away from Home in Maui. The location is right next to the Maalaea Harbor and had a beautiful ocean and island Mountain Views with absolutely stunning sunrises. There is a nice little walk to a nearby beach. The location was a bit away from the shops, restaurants, and other accessible beautiful beaches in Kehei but the views and home feeling made up for all that. Besides it’s a nice drive anywhere on Maui. We’d like to thank the owner as the condo had a lot of great beach accessories many use for vacations such as beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles, boogie boards, towels, and a small ice chest! Also the kitchen has basic necessities as well. Absolutely amazing!! Thank you for a great stay as we made the best memories. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect, convenient, quiet spot for our family!
Celebrated my honeymoon & my mother-in-law’s 70th birthday with a 2 week stay at Taylor & Jake’s condo. It was the perfect spot for myself, my husband, our 8-month old, and my in-laws! Taylor was helpful, responsive, and super accommodating before and during the trip. Fellow vacationers and locals in the complex were friendly and respectful. Ground floor was very nice with baby in tow, as we could enjoy the lanai and pool with baby monitor in range. SO many great amenities— snorkel gear, binoculars, beach chairs, coolers, umbrella etc— and nice to avoid having to pack or rent these items for our stay. Maalaea is the perfect spot to stay if you plan to do lots of exploring because it is completely central to all the must-sees of Maui; and for down days, the wonderfully maintained pool or quiet walkable beach are also a nice treat. We even got to see whales in Maalaea bay right from our lanai, and turtles along the ocean wall every day!

Amazing Place to Relax and be Inspired
Loved staying at this condo at Ma'alaea Kai! It is away from the tourist hussle and bustle of Kihei but still centrally located so everything you could want is just a short car ride away. It was super clean!! The beds were sooo comfortable. Even the sleeper sofa was great! Air conditioner was awesome since we visited Maui during the last week of July. The owner added special little touches that made staying there the perfect place for our family (flowers and chocolates, cooking spices in the cabinet, pods for the dishwasher and laundry, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, pool noodles, just to name a few.) We couldn't get enough of the outdoor fun and paid for it with sunburns. Taylor rescued us wth aloe vera well stocked in both bathrooms! The pool is right in front of sliding doors and the beautiful sandy beach is a short walk away at the end of the street. Best of all was seeing the sea turtles everyday around lunch time! The kind neighbrs that live at the complex said we should come back in December-March to check out the whales. Thank you, Taylor, for making our dream vacation a reality!
