If the sand is calling your name, Waikōloa Beach is just over a mile away where you can post up for a picnic on the shore, swim, or snorkel. Plus, when you want to grab a bite to eat or explore the local shops in town, you can make your way a mile to the main drag of the area.

THINGS TO KNOW
Beginning in September 2022, work on Phase II of the irrigation system will begin. This project will take about three months to complete. There will be significant impact around the Buildings 8 thru 12, & Building 21 as they dig new trenching and replace irrigation systems. Expect noise & dust from the work.

The location was great, the place was clean but old - which was ok for us. It was nice that all the extras were there for laundry, dishes and basic cooking supplies. The updates via text and email were great.

Comfortable and good location
We enjoyed the Colony Villa and the community feel. The pool was lovely and waste and recycling disposal was very convenient. Our villa had everything we needed. It was clean and we loved the location on the fairway of hole 9 of the Beach course. The beds were comfortable with lots of linens. The management were in touch making sure we were comfortable. Parking was also excellent. The bathrooms need a little updating and the living room furniture could be replaced but that’s really the only thing I’d say that wasn’t entirely positive.

Convenient and affordable
Great views of the golf course from the lani. Nice to have parking for 2 cars, 1 inside small garage and 1 in the designated reserved parking stall. Has lots of beach chairs, Boogie boards, umbrella and some snorkel gear. But no cooler at this location. This home could use some updating, lots of cosmetic things. The carpet needs to be tore out or re-stretched.

Nice Location
This unit is in a great resort - Nice pool and close to shopping, foods etc. It was nice to have a few staples in the kitchen, spices etc left from previous guests. Unfortunately I cannot give 5 stars for the following issues: The furniture in the living room is very uncomfortable, faded and worn. The three TVs are not smart tvs, so no streaming or even slinging to watch. The Music system would not power on, and there is an excessive number of dusty silk plants throughout the unit.The Primary bedroom has a terribly uncomfortable mattress.There is an assortment of beach chairs, tennis rackets, beach toy, umbrellas, and boogie boards that is nice. The AC was nice and cool.

Great Hawaii adventure
My husband and I traveled with my sister and her husband. The condo was perfect for two couples. The location was a great jumper my off point to explore the entire island. The condo was clean, cool and comfortable. We will definitely return the next time we are on the island.

Great accommodation in great location
The unit in the colony villas complex is easy to access, offer garage parking which we used daily, and it's very close to the swimming pool. Everything worked well, unit is very comfortable, and it's always great to have all the beach accessories available. Highly recommended for families with kids. We'll be back for sure.

Pro: Beautiful condo. Great lawn outside back porch. Con: Shared a wall with a condo getting new floors. BANG BANG BANG for 2 weeks. One day from 8 am till 8 pm. The dryer shut off mid-cycle every time we used it. Had to turn it back on every 30 minutes. The 2nd bedroom was too hot to sleep in, even when we turned AC down to 68 degrees. I had to sleep on the couch the first week. AC control said " Do not turn lower then 72 degrees. What a joke! Unit needs a dish drain board for hand washing dishes. The spare bathroom bath tub needs a non-slip mat. Almost broke my neck in there.. Lots of tiny ants in that bathroom, but they were friendly. The manager of the complex was nice. The head groundskeeper was super! The closesest pool was still under construction. Might be finished by the end of July.

Very nice stay
Beautiful property and location, pleasant family area with shopping, dining and beach just a couple of minutes away. Property is gated and secured. Lots of amenities in unit, various kitchen utensils for cooking. Initial checkin/unit entry process a little daunting after long, late flight…suggest a map be provided, a little more clarity on keypad. But day to day entry and exit were no problem.

Enjoyable stay
We've stayed at three different units at the Colony Villas in the last four years. This unit is well appointed and equipped and had plenty of beach chairs and toys which is important to us. Would definitely stay here again. However, there was zero "left overs" other than coffee filters which was a first on our almost 30 years in renting vacation properties on 4 continents. No left over salt and pepper, sugar, paper products etc. We left that all behind in this unit and would be nice to know if these are being disposed of due to Covid (not necessary) or cleaning staff taking them (which is why I don't trash unopened food or remaining liquor but please leave some basics left from the last vacationers). Also, a set of plastic cups would be nice for patio and pool use. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

basic town home
we stayed in many condos and houses in the area in the past 25 years visiting the island. This was the most basic experience we so far had. Although clean, the bedding was just ok, pillows flat, mattress in one room way too soft. The kitchen had pots and pant, dishes, but no basics like salt & pepper. Overall townhome seems like it could use a bit of update. Location is great so if you don't spend too much time indoors it will work just fine

This place meets all of our expectations. Super clean, comfortable, quiet. There are lots of towels, beach items provided and they are very clean. AC works very well in all rooms except that one guest room is a little warm (not due to AC though). Will recommend to friends.

Very Enjoyable Week in Lovely Condo
We were impressed with the well stocked and comfortable condo for our second week on the island. We appreciated the sand chairs for our visits to beach, and the kitchen basics that were there for our use. Great location, having A/C was wonderful and all in all, a home well decorated and appointed.

Great condo. Document any issues.
We loved the unit. It is in a great location and very conveniently located to the facilities in the Waikoloa Beach area. There were restrictions on the use of the hot tub (only 2 people allowed at the time) due to covid, but we just waited our turn. That was the only issue we had due to covid and that is a minor issue and was a HOA restriction not directly related to the condo. After getting home, I received an email saying the sheets were torn and that the bi-fold door to the laundry closet was off the track. The sheet had a tear in it when we checked in and the door to the laundry was slightly difficult to open. I did not report either item. I do not know how this will resolve, but if I had documented the sheets and the door it would not be an issue. If you see something or have a problem make sure to let the local contact know, immediately.

Outstanding Vacation Home
Great location in complex. Quiet spot, close to pool and grills, but not so close as to be noisy. Golf course view. Home is clean and everything works, though caulking in bathrooms is due for an update. Well equipped kitchen and we even liked the art. Only downside is unavailability of garage for parking. Most WCV homes we’ve used allowed this. Exterior space nearby, though. We will definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and spacious condo
We had a fabulous stay at Waikoloa Colony Villas. The condo was very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, extra linen, and beach equipment. We loved sitting on the patio in the morning watching all the birds on the golf course...the most birds we saw in all of our birding expeditions. There are two spaces allowed for parking, one in the garage and one in a parking spot nearby. Vacasa had told me that there was only one, so we were wondering where the other car was going to park. Other than that one little issue, the condo was fabulous!

Perfect Getaway From Home
All the necessities, room, and comfort you'll need for a home away from home! And for the price? Definitely worth the deal! Plenty of equipment for the pool and beach was available for use in the garage and the kitchen was stocked with a lot of utensils and pots and pans for cooking to avoid expensive restaurant meals.
