As our guest at KOLEA, you have access to KOLEA’s private Beach Club Pavilion - 250 yards from our unit. From our Beach Club, you can enjoy overlooking the ocean and ancient Hawaiian ponds or walking directly onto the sandy A’Bay Beach, short for Anaeho'omalu Beach, and about 150 yards from the Beach Club where Watersports await.

Our beautiful Penthouse villa 16F located in building 16, third floor, overlooks the majestic mountains. The unit is richly furnished along with High End Electronics and Appliances, Central air conditioning, Ceiling fans throughout, Granite countertops, Travertine floors, African mahogany crown molding and cabinetry.

The lanai features Teak wood cabinetry, an outdoor living/dining area, with a gourmet Viking gas grill and rotisserie, along with a refrigerator. The retractable pocket doors bring together the lanai and living areas in a natural flow.

You will have a spacious 1270 square-foot living area plus a 150 square-foot lanai. This two-bedroom penthouse villa includes a king bed in the master bedroom and a 42-in TV. The ensuite master bath has a separate oversized shower, and a luxurious soaking tub, double sinks with natural stone finishes. In the second bedroom there is a queen-size bed and 42-in TV. The large guest bathroom with a shower bathtub combination and the double sinks with natural stone finishes. The living area is furnished with an extremely comfortable Sectional sofa, a large TV.

DESCRIPTION OF WAIKOLOA BEACH RESORT: Waikoloa Beach Resort is world-famous, and it offers just about everything that you would need to make your vacation extraordinary. There are two fabulous golf courses. The Hilton and Marriott are both within the resort and each has many things to offer.

There is no shortage of spas or restaurants, fine-dining or casual. The Queen’s Marketplace and King’s shop offer the two largest shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences on the Kohala coast. At the Queen’s Marketplace, you can find all your groceries and beverages. They even have a gourmet market where you can find meals that are ready-made. Behind the Marriott, you’ll find the Lava Lava Beach Club and Anaehoomalu Bay (better known as A-Bay), a beautiful crescent shaped public beach that offers many ocean sports for the whole family.

Within a few minutes' drive, you can enjoy the world-famous beaches such as Hapuna and Mauna Kea, or the less known and more secluded 69 Beach, a favorite of the local. The list of things to do is endless.

NO SMOKING policy: Our villa and Kolea community are strictly NON-SMOKING properties.

SECURITY CAMERA: For the security of our home and community, a video doorbell is installed at the front door. Access to recorded footage will be limited to the property manager and only used for security purposes, such as investigating incidents or potential criminal activity.

FEE PAY SEPARATELY - NOT OUR FEES:
If you book through VRBO/HomeAway, there is a GUEST SERVICE FEE: Pay at booking, please REFER TO VRBO ONLINE QUOTE for the amount. This fee is NOT included in our Rental Agreement because it is NOT our charge. This charge is imposed by VRBO/HomeAway on all renters who use their website.

OTHER FEES:
1. INTERIM CLEANING FEES: $225.00 each, required every 7 nights for 15 nights or longer stay.
2. DAILY CLEANING - please request in advance: $165.00 each.
3. EARLY CHECK IN and LATE CHECK OUT: $200.00 each for reservations of 7 nights or longer. One night fee for reservations less than 7 nights.

BOOKING PROCEDURE: To finalize any reservation, we require (1) payment, (2) copy of your fully executed RENTAL AGREEMENT including credit card authorization and (3) a copy of your GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID. Please send us an inquiry, we will send you a rental agreement specifically prepared for your dates. Confirmation of Reservation is “First Come, First Serve” and subject to owner’s approval.

If your booking request is "Pre-approved", your quote is valid for three days from the date of the rental agreement. Rental rates and fees are subject to change and are not guaranteed until the reservation is confirmed.

TRAVEL INSURANCE is highly recommended. Regrettably, NO REFUND will be given for reasons outside of our control.

Lovely Spot of Paradise!
We were in Hawaii for a family wedding with my son and his family. The condo was well equipped and in a good location. Everything is within walking distance. The pool area was well maintained and right next to the beach. The community is family oriented, well maintained and friendly.

We loved our ten-day visit to Kolea 16F. We have always wanted to stay in this complex, and the condo didn’t disappoint. It’s so close to A-Bay and the shops. The best running and hiking trails outside the front door. Wonderfully stocked, and Hannah was a terrific host.

Big Island Trip
This was our second time to visit the big island and we decided to stay at the same condo as last year. This is a great place to stay and has everything we need. The condo has two nice bedrooms with large bathrooms, a nice size living room and great kitchen. It is very clean inside the condo and it is an amazingly beautiful landscaped resort and is quiet. The Lanai is my favorite as we spent every morning and evening listening to the birds and overseeing the beautiful trees and landscaping. We cooked outside a few times on the grill as well. We will be back at some point and most likely will stay in the same condo as it is such a nice place to go home to after a long day of hiking and exploring the island. Also, conveniently located within walking distance to some nice shops and restaurants. Definitely a great place to stay! Thanks, Steven

Excellent Property in a Nice Complex
The Kolea Penthouse (16F) was in a nice location and came fully equipped. The kitchen had every utensil you could think of, the living areas and balcony deck were very comfortable. The unit allows access to the complex's private pool and jacuzzi. The beach is a few minutes walk and a 10 minute walk to LavaLava which is a fun restaurant on the beach. Overall, we had a great stay.

We just returned from 10 days on the BI and absolutely loved this property! We are a family of four with kids 5 and 8. The condo is spacious with thoughtful touches and everything you could possibly need to explore the island. Communication with Hannah was excellent and thorough throughout the entire process. Easy walk to A-Bay and the Kings/Queens Shops. Kolea is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or rent from Hannah! Mahalo! 🌺

Another great Hawaiian vacation
This was our family's 2nd stay at Kolea, first stay at 16f, and another great vacation! The resort is fantastic--loved the pool, hot tub, and easy access to the great beach. Hannah's condo at 16f is wonderful! I do a lot of food preparation and the kitchen had everything we needed: the pots & pans, cooking utensils, spacious grill and storage containers were plentiful, quality, and varied. We had one small hiccup with the fridge, but Hannah was very responsive and super nice about it, and the repair guy was extremely friendly and efficient. Our previous stay was in Building 9 (which was also great), we weren't sure if building 16 would be a little "too far" from the beach, but that wasn't the case at all--incredibly easy walk to the resort pool and beach. The view from the lanai was spectacular, and we totally loved it. Really nice place and really great vacation.

Wonderful property in so many ways. Great location, easy walking access to beach, pool, amazing trail right along the coast, and nearby shops/restaurants. The inside of the condo was high end and beautiful. Loved the lanai with doors that open to make indoor/outdoor space. Used much of the outdoor gear without having to bring, buy, or rent. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Sad to leave!
