"We had the pleasure of staying in the Rainforest Deluxe room, and I was truly impressed by how cozy and charming it was. The breathtaking mountain views and the serene forest surrounding the room made it feel like a peaceful escape. The room was thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed, including a small kitchen, which was a wonderful touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I especially loved the large glass doors that allowed me to savor the gentle rain while enjoying my coffee. The location is also ideal, with the main street just a couple of minutes away, making it easy to explore. To top it off, there’s a fantastic restaurant right next door that served some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time. This stay was truly special, and I’ll cherish the memories of it."

"We weren't expecting much from this lodge given the low price. But it hugely exceeded our expectations. On arrival at 7pm after a long drive, it was easy to find and park. The receptionist gave us a welcome that was so friendly and enthusiastic, it put most other hotels to shame. While the room was quite small and the bathroom shared (as we'd expected), it was nice and warm, giving us an instant boost on a cold night, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location couldn't have been better, with a range of decent restaurants within a short walking distance. There was a large kitchen and common room area with free tea, coffee and popcorn, outside there was a hot tub you could use up till 10pm, and the atmosphere overall felt more like we were staying a high-end hotel than somewhere cheap, even though we'd paid just £28 for two people. I would heartily recommend this lodge."

"It was an amazing experience to stay in a wooden cabin. There were adequate facilities including a fully equipped kitchenette. The staff is friendly and they also offer a Glowworm spotting walking tour at 7 pm. Overall, very good experience and would recommend in Fox Glacier area. "
