"The hotel is advertised as having AC, this was a key element in my decision to book this hotel. Apparently they turn it off when it gets cold, according to them and other guests should just open the windows. We were promised that the hotel manager would contact us as we complained about it. That was on Saturday and we checked out on Monday. I have yet to hear back from her or anyone in the property. The receptionist offered us another room where they opened the windows. How did i not think of that? I asked to get at least a fan but i'm only a paying customer, why should i get a response? The hotel images, suggest that it is somewhat secluded. This is not the case as i was woken up by trains passing nearby (100-200m) at 7am. We had to sleep with open windows... Not my ideal vacation. The only bright side in this hotel was the F&B staff who were super friendly and helpful."

"Very good staff took care of a complaint I had about room being too hot solved issue. Great amenities especially in kitchen, spacious layout, great balcony. I would stay there again. Lots of parking, near town. "

The people are absolutely amazing—they truly understand hospitality, and it’s clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast selection. As vegetarians, we were thrilled with the variety of options available. There was an abundance of fresh fruit, Alpro yogurts, and a selection of healthy seeds—it was heaven for us. The coffee was also delicious. We would love to return to Alpina Wagrain in the future. We deeply appreciate their hospitality and the wonderful food offerings."

"This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. There is not even a ramp to take your baggage in from the car which is parked away. The staff were unfriendly unhelpful and had a generally bad attitude. The rooms were cramped and the whole hotel felt cramped. The staff at the restaurant wanted you to eat and go as fast as posssible. All in all terrible experience "
