Great property to stay at with our dog. He absolutely loved the dog door, and the secure back yard was perfect for him. House has such character and will be even lovelier when renovations are finished. Kate was wonderful to deal with, quick replies to queries during our stay. Will definitely stay here again if we need to stay overnight in Wagga.
Over all it was a comfortable house the rooms were nice and the beds were soft the whole experience at this house was great so convenient on location I would definitely stay there again
Had everything we needed, great yard for our dog to play in and the renovations so far are wonderful. We'll definitely stay here again , cant wait to see how it all looks when its finished.
Ivanhoe is a quiet and quaint cottage in a great location. It's close to the Murrumbidgee, Lost Lanes, great cafes, food, and pubs in an older part of town surrounded by great architecture. The bed was comfy and everything worked as advertised!

Just felt like home
We loved Wagga Wagga and staying at the "Ivanhoe", it was so central to everything. The house was lovely and the beds were very comfy.
It was awesome being able to have our fur baby with us. The backyard could do with some outdoor chairs but we managed.
Thank you and if you would have us, and we were in Wagga Wagga again, we would love to come back.
It looked good online, but it looked better in person! Lots of Wagga charm in this beautifully renovated house.
The water in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated on a hot Christmas Eve.
Highly recommended!

Need attention
This property is old & run down. I am surprised it meets Stayz quality requirements.
Bedding excellent, renovo jobs good but need finishing, property generally unkept, front verandah dusty & not attractive
Laundry electrical setup a safety hazard nightmare. The ironing board a joke.
Sleeps 6+ & 3 forks in the kitchen, but a lovely kitchen.
The host was helpful when called to sort out the a/c & started the ancient Vulcan gas heater for us. A guest manual would be helpful to help alert guests to a few basic things. I sent her a SMS regarding a few helpful changes but, she didn't reply.
We have stayed with Stayz a few times over the years with friends & always found your accomm to be of a good standard. Something is certainly lacking with this one

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Amenities
We did not like that there was no soap provided for personal washing. Also the pots and pans provided were filthy with food scraps baked onto them. There were no appropriate cleaning items to clean them.
We also thought that the lack of any basic beverage items (tea bags & coffee sachets) was very disappointing.

Old house needing renovation
The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were all clean, but when you looked up there were cobwebs everywhere that looked like they’d been there some time. Having the walls painted dark probably hid many of the issues, but made it the place very dark. The large crack in the living area made it seem like we were in an old rundown student share house again. I don’t think you’d be allowed to rent this place as a standard long term lease now. It was unseasonably warm when we were in Wagga which was a bonus. It think this old, uninsulated and drafty place would be freezing in the colder months, even with all the heating on. Please note that there is a reason they showed the front exterior of the house in low light in the ads. When you pull up to the place, we both exclaimed that this must be the wrong address it looked so run down.
Perfect base for a Wagga stay. Property undergoing renovation, flyscreens would be next on my list due to excessive mosquitoes in the Wagga area. A grab handle for those with mobility issues would be welcome for the bath / shower. Tea & coffee would also be a welcome addition

Family catch up in Wagga Wagga
Half way between Melbourne and Sydney so great spot to meet up with our Sydney family.
Although we had a great time our accommodation was a little disappointing. Lacked the little things like dish cloth (we did find it in a tree outside), Christmas tree still up in October, personal family photos in the lounge, no kitchen hand towel, no door knob on lounge room door. More accurate details on the condition of the back rooms would make the renter aware of the poor condition of the back room, laundry, toilet area.
Loved the coffee and meals at Trail St coffee shop.
Great location, nice and quiet street, able to walk everywhere.
Lovely old property but a little on the coolish side as the air conditioning didn't appear to be working as efficiently as possible. Kitchen very good, very dog friendly!
We loved our stay, very conveniently located within Wagga. The cottage is being renovated beautifully and is very clean given its age. The new kitchen is superb, the main bathroom is pleasant, separate toilet very convenient and the beds were cosy.
The high ceilings are beautiful, every room is spacious with reverse cycle aircon to warm up our room.
Thank you Kate we would love to stay again.
Great spot to be near town. Although the property was still under renovation we found the quality of what had been done to be great. Beds very comfy and linen great.
Whilst the property is still being renovated, the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and loungeroom is done. The bed was super comfy. The lounges were also super comfy and great for stretching out on. It's a lovely old house walking distance to main street and also Sportsman's Hotel for good casual meals.
