The house was perfect for what we wanted, close to all places of interest. It was great being able to have our dog's with us. Communication was fast and any problem's were solved quickly. Would stay here again and recommend it to other's.
Not sure of this property but it proved to be most comfortable and fantastic for a short break with 5 adults.
Within walking distance to a number of restaurants, pubs and the RSL club.
Very quiet,
Highly recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this charming cottage. Nice comfy beds and everything you need for a stay. Great area, walking distance to a lovely pub and local shops. Plenty of room in the backyard for doggo zoomies! Can't recommended Kate highly enough as a host, 10/10.
A lovely cottage within easy reach of restaurants, supermarkets, cafes etc.
Great to be able to bring your pets along too!
It's in an obvious state of transition with the interior looking freshly done (a couple of very striking rooms) and the exterior in need of some major maintenance and cleaning.
We were very happy with our stay and would most definitely book again.

Family visit
We came to see our sons passing out ceremony with the army. The house was perfect with the dogs and the teenagers, who could walk into town easily. We where able to meet up with our oldest and enjoy his company with a home cooked meal and greasy baked biscuits in the fully equipped kitchen.
We had a wonderful 4 days

Great location, but small
Clean and central, and a good yard for our dogs. A very small bedroom with singles and only one toilet and it's in the bathroom which is a little awkward as it is off the dinning/living area, ok for close family, maybe not groups.

wagga wagga stay
Inside this property was very neat and tidy. The back area was dirty and untidy could not enjoy sitting outside. The photo on internet was not correct to the current state of the yard.
The bathroom description for this property is somewhat deceptive, it lists 2 bathrooms. The second "bathroom" is just a toilet and hand basin. A bathroom to me is a toilet, hand basin and bath and/or shower.

The property was big, nice. Well provided utilities in the nicely maintained kitchen and laundry
There was however no tea, coffee provided, lucky we carried some with us.
Outdoor sitting in the backyard was very very dirty, requires a good clean up before renting it again.
Would be better if some microwave safe containers are provided, we could not use the microwave at all because of no microwave safe containers.
Most of the dinner plates were chipped, require replacement
The house was neat and tidy. In an excellent location; a beautiful neighborhood close to the main shopping area. The kitchen facilities were more than adequate. The price was very reasonable. There were a few drawbacks; some missing fly screens on the windows, a missing door knob into one bedroom, and the bathroom door wouldn't close properly. There was a used towel hanging behind one of the bedrooms doors, and the lounge suit smelt unpleasant. The key code wouldn't work, but we did receive a very prompt reply to our query for help. Overall it was a satisfactory accommodation, but I wouldn't choose to stay there again.

Disappointed
Unfortunately Kate did not prove to be a good host in my case. Forgot to send me code for entry. When I finally received the code & opened the lock safe, the cover fell on the ground. I struggled to get the key back out of the door. I ended up going to Bunnings to buy graphite powder to solve problem quickest way as it was getting dark. Kate did not follow up to see if I managed ok in 5 days I was there. Numerous maintenance issues, some
more serious than others which I told her about when leaving for sake of other guests.
Bed was comfortable, linen clean, shower water hot, heating ok, good room for family with dog on low budget. Location was great.
Made the most of it but will go somewhere else next time I visit Wagga.

Do not recommend this property
Do not recommend this property
Carpets were filthy, property was dirty, cobwebs everywhere would not walk around without shoes on
Beds had clean sheet, bathroom was usable
Would not stay here again sorry
The cottage on Simmons was perfectly suited to our needs. A short walk to the Murrumbidgee, parks, cafes, everything we needed. We love the cottage which has a well equipped kitchen, is spacious and a big fenced backyard. Thanks Kate for having us back. A real bonus that our little dog was welcome, too.
Thanks to Kate for being so flexibe with our booking. Great location, pet friendly. Had a lovely stay. A bath mat & a tea towel would have been appreciated. Otherwise good with bed & bedding very comfortable

Perhaps some improvements for next time
1st the positives:
1. Most comfortable modular lounge I’ve reclined on.
2. House overall was comfortable & warm as were beds
Annoying basic facilities not provided & poor excuse when complaint raised:
1. Cutlery - no knives and forks
2. No back doormat to wipe feet
3.minimal washing up facility especially scouters.
All small basic things but they make a difference.
Overall I’d book again
I wondered if it was a bit of a gamble given some of the previous less than positive reviews, but we were very happy with the place. Freshly cleaned, lots of space, nice location, good communication. I would recommend
The inside of the house was clean and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable. The house is in a quiet street, the outside needed the grass cutting and some of the bushes pruning back as they scratched the side of the car. There is a white ant eaten board in the outdoor shelter which fell as one guest walked past.
Property was as listed, clean and in a great central location. Beds were very comfortable and heating was excellent given the chilly Wagga weather.

We call it the Mouse House…..will be lovely when fully renovated!
The house suited our stay and was the only pet friendly accommodation left in Wagga, that weekend.
Bedding was very clean and comfortable for 5 adult family members and 2 little dogs. Warm and cosy. With work to be done, it will be very cute and a great location for visiting our grand- daughters.
