Set in the stunning Cornish countryside Tylney Retreat offers the most magical holiday location within a small select collection of properties. It has everything for those looking for a quiet, comfortable and enjoyable Cornish break in or out of season. From the lounge there are far reaching panoramic views over the countryside and the Camel Estuary; you will be able to join the Camel Trail just at the end of the lane. There is an extensive choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs in the nearby market town of Wadebridge, also the historic fishing port of Padstow, the home of Rick Stein's seafood restaurant, is only 7 miles. If you would like to stay closer to home then the award winning Quarryman Inn is just around the corner and enables you to enjoy an evening drink or meal after a day exploring the Camel Trail.
The apartment is fully equipped, including free wi-fi, and is kept to a high standard of decoration. Although there is no washing machine in the apartment, there is a local launderette in nearby Wadebridge. Bed linen is included in the rental price for all stays, including short breaks.

Perfect location to use as a base to tour Cornwalls beautiful coastlines. Fantastic views of Padstow/Rock estuary and lovely sunsets. Convenient location to amenities/shops etc. but in the countryside, peaceful retreat. Well equipped apartment, made to feel like home from home. Parking facilities in the local pub car park very convenient. Recommend the local pub if you didn’t feel like cooking for yourself.

We came down to Cornwall for half term to see Padstow, Tintagel and Bude. It was a great trip and thoroughly recommend. We managed to miss lunch at the pub thought, so thats a good excuse to come back again!

Lovely Apartment
This was our second visit and we would highly recommend this beautiful apartment. The living space is perfectly set out with wonderful views towards Padstow. It’s immaculately clean and well equipped with a great pub on your doorstep. You should not hesitate in booking.

Lovely airy apartment with fantastic views over the estuary and countryside. Good pub right around the corner is a real bonus. Great base for exploring local beaches, villages and sights. Cycling the Camel trail was fun too.

Lovely comfortable accommodation with a super view!
It was our third stay in this apartment and we enjoyed it as much as the first two. It's a cosy base for a winter trip - we were lucky with the weather but if it hadn't been good, we would have been comfortable and warm staying indoors. Lots of good circular coastal walks within easy reach, both sides of the Camel estuary.

We all felt relaxed as soon as we opened the door, everything immaculate, very well equiped, lovely view and lovely walks on the doorstep, the Qurrayman very welcoming and food excellent. We will certainly be back.

Beautiful, peaceful spot
The apartment is really lovely. Very clean, lovely location with stunning views over camel estuary. Room with single beds I wouldnt say is ideal for an adult- lumpy pillows and not a lot of space, but I decamped and slept on the sofa and my Mum had the lovely ensuite room where she slept well. It was great to be able to bring my dog and the aprtment has all the mod cons you need to cook and self cater. The local pub is sweet- not the friendliest or warmest of welcomes, but good to have a spot just next door when you dont want to drive. Overall we had a lovely stay and fell in love with North Cornwall even more.

Lovely getaway
I booked this trip at the last minute as I only recently arranged for the time off. I had stayed in the area before so knew what the surroundings were like. The apartment is a home from home with lovely good quality furnishings. There is an amazing view down to Padstow which is ever changing in terms of sunsets, twinkling lights and the various different times of the river.Camel. Highly recommend this property.
