"Great stay, great breakfast "

"Great Quirky place to stay - Evening meal food was excellent and the Breakfast was great and plentiful and all cooked to your liking - The Hotel room and facilities were more than adequate - Only downside if you don't like noise is that if there are a lot of guests there booked in, then there is a lot of door banging noise but theres not a lot you can do about that Staff friendly and helpful"

"The food in The Lion was first class, and the service from Elisha and Mark. However the room had a few problems 1 the hot water was scolding instantly and no mixer , if any child opens the hot tap they woild have 3rd degree burns. 2 the coffee machine had no water chamber ( missing ) 3 there was no bulb in the table lamp Room was clean just not maintained regular in my opinion , ive been in the trades for 40 years so all the jobs would take an hour After saying that i would still stay...

"Overall very pleased with stay. Rooms were well above average. However I must have missed in the description that it is motel type accommodation in a seperate block. I would have enjoyed a hotel lounge to sit with friends after the very good meal."
