"Resort has that beachy vibe of a Club Med from back in the 80's, but without the excessive partying. A very relaxed, shorts-and-barefeet feeling where you can go from pool to beach to bar, and charge anything (very reasonably priced) to your room. Room itself is fairly spartan, but the bed is very comfortable, and the cleaning staff is outstanding. Not at all busy when we were there, so it was easy to schedule a masage, as well as cab rides to wherever we needed to go. A well-needed respite...

"Right bang in the middle of town. 15 minutes from back beach, 15 minutes from front beach ( expat area) Description on Hotels.com of the rooms are not accurate, TV is very small, no rainfall shower. It's cheap and at the end of the stay , I felt happy because the staff are nice. If you are able to walk quite well, then it's a good affordable place to stay, basic rooms. "

"This hotel is a nightmare. The hotel condition, facility, rooms is very old and not worth the price. Me and my fiance staying here for 4 days and thought the hotel would be nice according to pictures shown on Expedia. However, we were not expected the hotel's condition is very bad. The towel was not clean and have stains it looks like they were reused as the last guest checking out. The bed was cranky and the bathroom is dirty. No one comes to clean the room unless you request someone to clean....

"We are traveling extensively throughout Vietnam, we found this place and could not be more impressed with the staff and the facilities. We took advantage of the facilities, including Pickleball pools, restaurants, and walking the beautiful gardens. Most impressive part of our stay was by far the attention to detail by the staff. "Darby Park was a nice place to stay, the room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Having a separate living area was very convenient. We were not in Vung Tau for the shopping but good restaurants were a short taxi ride away and the coffee shop across the road was handy."
