"We had a great stay on the house boat. It was awesome to watch all of the boats go by on the large Amstel waterway. Great little seating area outside as well. One downside is the rooms air conditioning is kept a little hotter than comfortable for us with no way to turn it cooler. It was also a bit of a walk with luggage to the metro. Overall great stay though and I would absolutely recommend staying in a houseboat while in Amsterdam, it’s a unique and really cool experience. "

"This was the perfect place to lay our heads for our time in Amsterdam. Very close to many different attractions and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Roy was so accommodating and welcoming. We only stayed two days, but it made it easy to see the city in our short time here. Would recommend to anyone. The apartment is two bedrooms, a shower, a toilet and a kitchenette. Plus the owner has a beautiful dog that he will introduce you to :) Thanks again Roy! You are a great asset to any traveler....

"We had a wonderful stay and this is must visit place to make your holiday even more comfortable. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. Rooms are very cozy and there is alot of space to keep your belongings. Vintage dutch 3 storey house that has luxurious designed living rooms, bedroom and kitchen. Worth every penny and it is located right on the canal with amazing views and just a 5 min walk from the nearest tram station. I would be visiting again hopefully soon. "

"This was a perfect little apartment just a short commute (1 Metro stop and a 10 minute walk) from Amsterdam Centraal Station. It's up 1 flight of stairs in a residential neighborhood but just down the street from several good restaurants/bakeries. "This is a beautifully appointment apartment with high ceilings, luxury beds/bedding, and tasteful decor. It is brightly lit from tall windows on both sides and is quiet due to being on the top floor. It included everything we needed for our stay, including toiletries, iron/ironing board, fridge/sink/kitchen items, hair dryer, and washer/dryer. The owners are very responsive, warm, and welcoming. "A unique spot and a unique room. Just be aware it is a typical old European(steep and narrow) climb to the rooms. Check in is in the bar/restaurant. They were very accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy for breakfast and for supper. A little out of the way,but we used a park and ride to get into Amsterdam. "

The renovations that have been done are beautiful and maintain the feel of historic homes. And the location of the house is perfectly located for walking basically anywhere.
