"We were there in July and used the hotel as a base to visit the beaches in the Pilion - it worked well having a base up in the mountains to return to after a day at the beach. I have to admit, the lovely swimming pool was a drawcard, so it was disconcerting to receive an email from the hotel informing us that local temperatures would be 21-22 degrees during our stay! However we did use the pool, even though unheated, and wish we had spent more time in it. Quibbles: you had to pay a daily...

"Booked this hotel 10 minutes before arriving at their door due to onward ferry being fully booked at Volos Port. It was ok and clean. However no bar or breakfast available. Couldn't even get a bottle of water for the room. There was a slight hiccup over the payment. We had paid for 2 rooms but hotelier thought we had only paid for 1 room. After a long call to Hotels.com (who were amazing) they sorted it out and the hotelier was then all smiles. Left early morning and had breakfast at the Port....

"Un très bel accueil, puis on nous a offert de l'aide pour apporter nos bagages à la chambre. Une belle chambre très propre et bien équipée pour un séjour de quelques jours. Nous avons adoré l'atmosphère et très bien manger au restaurant de l'hôtel. Et nous avons été vraiment choyé, nous avons reçu un très bon petit déjeuner pour apporter car nous devions quitter très tôt le matin. Notre regret, c'est de na pas avoir pu prolonger notre séjour.
