"This property offered so much more than what was listed online. The house is spacious and comfortable. The host could not have done more for us. Great hospitality. Sitting on the porch, bird watching and listening to them sing was very peaceful and relaxing. The cherry on the top was when Dirk took us into the breading chamber and showed us the little ostriches hatching on the working farm. No commercial ostrich farm offers that amazing experience. "Great location for visiting Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Park. Nice to be so near a variety of animals at Wildewangel. Unfortunately the restaurant closed at 5 pm and we had to drive 30km into Oudtshoorn for a meal. Comfortable room and facilities but no heating."

Amazing hidden gem in the klein karoo

"Such a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. Comfiest bed of our holiday so far too! Highly recommend the sundowner game drive and dinner, Elton is so knowledgeable abour everything! and he is a natural storyteller. The ostrich tour was fantastic too, Zenith was friendly and informative and you could tell loved the ostriches. Overall just a brilliant stay and all staff we met were helpful and friendly. Amazing views from the property too. Highly recommend staying here. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place"
