Our stay in Vollore-Ville
Claudette is a great host, who, if needed, is always on hand and very helpful. She has excellent command of English, having lived in London for some time. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped, with a wonderful panoramic westward view from a huge terrace, which overlooks the hills and valleys all the way to a distant chain of dormant volcanos, which is part of the Massif Central mountain region. The accommodation is located a five minute walk to the nearby village, which has a well stocked village shop, a bar which serves lunch, boulangerie, and ladies hairdresser, all in an attractive village square. We very much enjoyed our three week stay.

Short break in Auvergne
Lovely gite with amazing views. Just as described, very comfortable and Claudette was very helpful and welcoming. Our dog enjoyed the garden and we enjoyed the terrace and the beautiful sunsets.; although the garden is not enclosed, it's a very quiet area and it's huge, plus the terrace can be closed off to keep the dog with you. We enjoyed our stay very much, though it was not long enough! Thanks Claudette for letting us stay at your lovely gite.

Perfect location for exploring France Profound
On a crossroads town, on a west-facing slope with a fabulous terrace overlooking the Puys du Dômes, we enjoyed a friendly village with a full service market, boulangerie, and welcoming tabac-restaurant with good food. Short drives to medieval villages, Romanesque churches, chateaux, splendid walks, UNESCO sites, filled our days. Wi-fi and cable television kept us in touch with home, and this sunny apartment with the views over the west welcomed us home for 3 weeks. With all appliances and washing machine, and plenty of hot water, we were always comfortable, and our host was friendly, informative, and available. You can't miss having a great vacation here.

Lovely house with fabulous views
Stayed for two weeks with my elderly Mum. It would be hard to imagine a warmer welcome from the owner, who lives next door. The house suited us perfectly as all the accommodation is on one floor (no steps inside) and the bathtub is easy to get into (shower above, no separate shower), and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. (We didn't do any cooking, just simple meals in the evening). The decor is old-fashioned so may not appeal to everyone, but we found it very comfortable and slept very well. In good weather, the huge balcony is a real bonus with fantastic views across to the mountains in the west (and good sunsets). The house is situated in a peaceful location within walking distance of a pretty village with small supermarket, bakery and bar/restaurant, and there is loads to do within a short drive. We would not hesitate to return.

Très agréable séjour
Très bel accueil de notre hôte avec une maison très propre et bien situé pour se ressourcer. Une superbe vue, digne d'une carte postale a chaque réveil, chaque soirée avec son lot de surprise en fonction de la météo. Randonnées, balade et visite en perspective dans les environs avec le lac d'Aubusson pour se rafraîchir en fin de journée. Petit village charmant niché dans la vallée où les circuits à vélo également ne manquent pas. A découvrir ou redécouvrir !!

Une terrasse avec une vue d'ensemble sur les volcans d'Auvergne inoubliable nous reviendrons.
Un accueil chaleureux, une location sympathique avec tout le matériel nécessaire manque des couteaux qui coupent et un aspirateur avec le manche l'originalité pour le dos non merci... Sinon l'ensemble l'endroit pour visiter est très bien trop court 15jrs pour tous ce qu'il y a à voir.Un jardin extraordinaire Nous reviendrons c'est sûr.

Très jolie région, plaines vallonnées, montagnes, couchés de soleil différents tout les jours, enchanteront votre séjour. Si vous aimer visiter châteaux et villages médiévaux allez y. A Vollore-Ville vous êtes bien placé pour sillonner la région : Clermont-Ferrant, Vichy, Thiers (très mystérieuse et capitale du couteaux) Billom (beau marché et ville médiévale,) Ambert (fourme). La maison est conforme au descriptif, la literie est bonne, belles pièces spacieuses et vue splendide. Merci à Claudette pour son accueil chaleureux et son dynamisme, Belle vie à vous à Vollore-Ville.

Région très agréable et reposante,sauf pour la pratique du vélo.Maison spacieuse et vivante,parfaitement équipée jusqu'au moindre détail.Immense terrasse avec vue panoramique extraordinaire.Très grand terrain où notre chien s'est exprimé avec fougue. Prix très convenable par rapport aux prestations. Propriétaire dans logement contigu mais parfaitement isolé phonétiquement.sans la moindre promiscuité.Cette dame dynamique malgré son âge se fait parfaitement oublier tout en étant bien disponible en cas de besoin.Amateurs de la région,il est probable que nous reviendrons au même endroit.

Location au calme, agréable avec une vue panoramique.
Tout d'abord, nous remercions la propriétaire pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. La maison est spacieuse, confortable et on a tout ce que l'on a besoin pour notre usage quotidien sans oublié la terrasse avec sa vue panoramique et un emplacement pour la voiture nous est dédié. J'ai adoré le petit village de Vollore-Ville où l'on trouve une boulangerie, une épicerie. Pour les gens qui aiment l'histoire, le château de Vollore-Ville est à 600 m de la propriété ainsi que d'autres sont à quelques Kms comme le château de RAVEL. Le lac D'Aubusson est à 5-6 kms où l'on peut y picniquer, se restaurer, faire du Paddle, Canoë, pédalo, se baigner, se promener. Et pour les amoureux de randonnées comme moi, il y a de quoi faire dont une de 14 kms au départ de Vollore-Ville, une de 15,5 kms au départ de Vollore montagne (au milieu de celle -ci on arrive sur le site panoramique à 1200m "La PIERRE PAMOLE": Waouh.... MAGNIFIQUE), et bien d'autres. Le puy de Dome, Vulcania, Volvic, le musée Michelin, Clermont Ferrant est à env 1h de la propriété... Excellent séjour. Je recommande cette location.

Couple avec enfant. Très belle location, une vue imprenable, proche de toutes commodités tout en étant au calme. Proche du lac d'Aubusson et de Clermont Ferrand. Logement confortable, propriétaire très aimable. On recommande chaudement.

La tranquilité et une vue imprenable
La gentillesse et le bon accueil de la propriétaire. De la grande terrasse, la vue magnifique qui s'étend très loin sur les monts avoisinants. Les très beaux couchers de soleil. Le ciel étoilé pour les personnes qui aiment scruter le ciel et voir les étoiles filantes lorsque le ciel est dégagé, bien sûr (chance que j'ai eue pendant tout notre séjour). Heureusement que Claudette a pensé à investir dans un grand parasol car nous avons eu très chaud avec ce séjour en pleine canicule. Très bon séjour. Location à recommander.
