Esbjerg Hotel was decent, but had some issues. The rooms were modern and clean, and the staff was friendly. However, the breakfast was unorganized and noisy, with not enough tables for everyone. Be early or you might not get a table. The staff working at breakfast was stressed. The person working behind the bar where people ordrer coffe did not know what a caffe latte was. Also would rate the food at the breakfast 3/10.
The hotel's «private» beach wasn't so private, and locals came to sell things and stay on the beach. The beach itself was concrete with slippery steps to the water. The hotel's parking was limited. The location was okay, with a beach and 2-3 restaurants nearby, but the main street was a 40-minute walk away. Overall, the hotel has potential but needs improvement if the price is to remain the same.
Overall, I would rate it 5.5 out of 10.
