Julia Hotel
5/5 Excellent
Home away from home
"This is a wonderful family hotel just a few minutes’ walk from the promenade and city center. Despite its central location, it remains peaceful and secluded—a perfect retreat.
The service is exceptional; we were warmly welcomed and genuinely felt like part of their family. Visiting during the low season was a bonus, as they kindly upgraded us to a suite. The suite, located on the fourth floor, offers breathtaking views of both the sea and the mountains. If you book a double room with the same view, you’ll also enjoy stunning sunsets. While the suite was comfortable, we do wish the linens were newer and of better quality.
The two brothers mainly manage the reception, and their hospitality is matched by their mother’s delicious, home-cooked breakfasts (buffet style in summer season). Each morning, we felt energized and ready to explore after enjoying her hearty meals. On our last day, their “baba” father—even offered us a complimentary ride to the bus station for our journey back to Tirana. Do not think twice to book this family run hotel."
