"Valentina's place was as if out of a fairytale. Her villa retains an authentic feel of a past time, from the outside to the inside - whether that be the grandiose bed or the wonderful, vintage china. Absolutely magical! We were given the warmest welcome and lots of advice on what to visit in the area as soon as we arrived. Valentina was absolutely brilliant. "The staff were really helpful and spoke English. The breakfast was great. The room was clean. The only downside (which isn’t the hotel’s fault) is that we were told there would be a taxi stand at the ferry station. There was not. It was 10pm and an uber would have taken at least 30 minutes to wait for. We ended up having to walk with our luggage in the rain to the hotel. It was close enough to walk but probably 25 minutes. But I recommend the hotel overall."
