"Una camera da non vendere. Senza finestra, senza aspiratore al bagno, vietato ai superiori di 80 kg, in pratica un piccolo ripostiglio. La camera è talmente piccola che per girarci in due ci si deve mettere di traverso. L’unico punto luce/aria, è la porta d’ingresso a livello strada con tutti i rumori che potete immaginare in modo particolare di notte. È sufficiente?"

El recepcionista muy amable, nos atendió en todo momento con rapidez y nos proporcionó información sobre los lugares para visitar, líneas de autobuses, excursiones, etc. La habitación bastante limpia. Las zonas comunes contaban con microondas y nevera. Muy buena ubicación, ya que estaba a unos 20/30 minutos a pie del centro, del puerto, teleférico... Y con varias tiendas cerca. Muy recomendable."

Peppe was an excellent host: the breakfast (with local homemade snacks) was great, he helped us with parking, gave us instructions to all of the local beaches (and even gifted us an umbrella for the day), and even gave us great dinner recommendations. The location was perfect for us - a short walk from the major shops, restaurants, and nightlife in the area. A 10 min downhill walk to the water. The room was enormous - so big, that the AC couldn’t cool the...

"The communal areas of the hotel were lovely, and the staff were approachable and helpful. The room needed a lick of paint though, and we found it a bit on the small side. However, there were other rooms which looked better."

"We enjoyed the full use of the apartment with onsite parking. Once you get the hang of driving in small Sicilian towns, it becomes east to get around. Balestrate has a beautiful beachfront and many lovely restaurants. Our hostess was helpful and friendly. Mille grazie, Rosalia!"

"This is a very nice hotel, it’s modern and a short walk to marina and beach. We stayed in the apartment, it was nicely decorated with a small kitchen. It has a beautiful pool, which is rare for a hotel in the town of Castellammare. There is no breakfast included or a coffee. You can buy coffee pods for your coffee maker to use in your room. "

"We were delighted with our choice of Marina Di Petrolo. The hotel is bright, smart and very clean. Our family room for my wife, daughter and I was a very good size, nicely decorated and smart. The staff were so nice and friendly at all times, and were always willing to help. We were grateful for the wonderful room cleaning staff who tidied and cleaned our rooms every day. There was an excellent Italian breakfast option every day, including freshly-made coffee of your choice. The location is not completely central but all the main areas of the town are easily accessible by foot, which is better to do anyway! Nevertheless there's a spectacular view of the bay from both the breakfast room and our own room. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was winter, but it looked nice. It would have been nice to have had the option to have meals other than breakfast, but it wasn't difficult to find other places around town (including a terrific pizza delivery place directly opposite!). We would love to come back to Sicily and if we are in this part of the island, Marina di Petrolo will be a definite place to revisit."
