"What can I say... The location was fabulous, the accommodation was wonderful and most of all Valere was the perfect host - so friendly and helpful! He has paid so much attention to detail which results in his guests having the perfect stay. Our room didn’t have AC (not sure if all rooms don’t) and ceiling fan wasn’t enough to keep it cool, which meant that it was difficult to sleep. Especially as weather wasn’t even the hottest it could be in peak summer. Also no mosquito nets on windows so couldn’t leave them open either. 2. "An absolutely perfect stay, Chateau du Martinet is exactly the place for which we had hoped: a gorgeous rustic building, charming grounds, and a friendly team of people that went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were met. The hotel is pet friendly, and two very friendly little dogs greeted us upon our arrival. The driveway is a bit oblique to the main road and we missed it the first time by. "This is a delightful little find out in the middle of nowhere owned by a wonderful gentleman. It has a 15 m swimming pool and is incredibly quiet at night. It’s a bit tough to find, but well worth it!"

"Kathrine and Patrick were lovely hosts and Patrick is cook extrordinaire! The makeover and additions to a centuries old stone country farm house are magnificent but not pretentious (describes the ambiance of our stay). If by train taxies a more miss than hit...the proprietors generously pick us up and returned us to the Gare' 25 minutes away (and should charge at least 30 euros for the round trip). A setting Forrest and reflection."
