"Europa is a mid-range hotel in the newer section of the city. The accommodations are basic, but ok. The breakfast is basic, but ok. Prior to the arrival, the hotel repeatedly sent us messages regarding its restictive check-in times and payment policy. On several occasions we tried to call them with payment, but the phone wasn't answered. The main issue we have with this property is regarding security. We were given one electronic cardkey, which had both the hotel name and the room number on it....

"Month long work trip, so condition of room was important. Nice comfortable room, excellent housekeeping services, good water temperatures and pressure on shower. Foyer noises tend to carry internally which could be annoying if loud guests were downstairs and you need to sleep. Helpful staff, quick turnaround laundry service, "

"The hotel is remote from the historical area and with the steep hills in town its good to drive up to the centre of town. The bar and restaurant are not in the hotel and even tho they are only about 50 yards away not very convenient especially for breakfast in winter! The staff were very friendly and helpful but with the location of the hotel and its condition I would not stay there again."

"The property is both a a spa frequented by retirees and family vacation spot. It reminded of what a Catskills resort might have been like. The pool was crowded with families and younger couples in the hot wx of July. The dining was excellent; staff were friendly. It is close to two UNESCO World Heritage towns, Baeza and Ubeda. We were only there overnight but had a good impression."
