"Jean and Catherine were wonderful hosts for our 3-night stay at this wonderful Chateau in the heart of the Beaujolais wine region. They went out of their way to answer all our questions and secure us dinner reservations and even arranged a wine tasting on-site for us. "We arrived at 16:15 after a 7 hour journey to find the entrance door locked and no lights seen inside and no sign of anyone about. We waited about 15 minutes then decided we needed to go elsewhere to stay and rest. The hotel sent me a text message in the evening asking me to contact them for information on Registration !!!! A notice on the door said that the hotel restaurant was closed for a period that included our night stop. It would have been nice to have known this at the time of booking as it would have affected our choice of venue."
