"We had an awesome time at the cottage. It’s a quick walk to the neighborhood beach that is very clean. Beautiful area and the neighbors always smiled and waved as we went by. The house was fully equipped and had everything we needed and more and was clean. We only had to buy food- all soaps and supplies were provided which was nice. The owners Matt and Carly were very responsive and friendly and gave us some great recommendations for food (Turk’s is a must!) and activities. "

"Was exactly what I expected for our stay on the Island. I grew up on Cape Cod and looking forward to a cozy cottage on the island. The property mgr also lives on the property but I only saw her once when I communicated that the coffee maker broke and was promptly replaced with a new one. Short drive or pleasant walk to downtown Edgartown with its restaurants and shops. Love the outside shower. Was there in September so the beaches are everywhere. Great farms on the island so it's easy and fun...

"We loved our stay and the hosts Joanne and David are very kind and accommodating. The house was well laid out and nicely decorated. The setting was just gorgeous. There was lots of room for our dogs to run around. The beach access was on site and the beach walks and sunsets were breathtaking. We will definitely be back!"

"I was travelling with my 3 sisters from Canada heading towards Martha's Vineyard for a sister's reunion. We all appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail. The space was well appointed. The fridge ice maker did not work well so having some ice cube trays would have been helpful. I highly recommend The Islander."

"Loved the location. Great spot. Hard to find at night, make sure you don’t use Waze as you’ll get misdirected. Kitchen is well appointed but there aren’t any leftover food supplies like coffee or sugar, so make sure you grab your own. You may need to bring an extra towel or two. But there were two towels for us. Overall, great spot. I’d love to come here in summer!"

"This house is like a museum! It’s beautiful inside and out. The home wasn’t as private or secluded as I’d hoped. The owner lets the neighbors park their boat at the dock so they roll up on you while you’re sunbathing, looking in the window at you while you’re in bed and roam back and forth through the yard at all hours of the night. This was the only flaw for me and it’s a big one when you pay almost a 1000 a night to have privacy and peace. "
