Cozy cowboy retreat that feels like a western town overlooking a beautiful ranch

About this space
You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Set in the hills of North Alabama, it is a hidden treasure. Stay in our former Trading Post that has been converted to a guest room. Walk the trails that lead to waterfalls, caves, and the ranch name's sake, Sullivan Creek. You are also likely to glimpse cowboys on horseback, working cattle or their horses, wildlife, and have a front row seat to breathtaking sunsets.
The Space:
We are a working cattle ranch and event venue. In 2020 we converted our equipment barn into a Trading Post where we sold our beef. Emily Anderson, a professional artist, also has her art studio, Cattle and Canvas, attached to the space. Now, due to the demand of guests wanting overnight accommodations, we have turned the space into a guest house. While the art studio is still operational, guests now have the entire barn to themselves.

There is a large main room with bar, kitchenette, as well as a living room space. The old Trading Post serves as the bedroom.

If you would like to grill, we provide a small charcoal grill, a small Blackstone grill or a firepit that has a cooking grate.

We encourage our guests to embrace the activity that happens on a daily basis around here. Ask questions, come watch, join in the adventure!

Guest access:
Guests have full access to the entire space except the art studio. Guests also have full access to the ranch for walks, hiking our trails (maps provided) or fishing (catch and release/bring your own poles).

Other things to note
This space is luxury cowboy camping! While the interior space of the barn is exclusively yours, outside the daily activities of the ranch will be going on around you.
We also offer all kinds of ranch experiences that can be added to your time here. You are welcome to approach and join in on anything you see going on but if you want a tailored tour or personalized experience, visit our website to book. We also raise a specialty breed of Wagyu beef called Akaushi. If you would like to enjoy a steak or burgers while you are here that you prepare yourself! Simply contact the us to get a list of available cuts. Then, we will send you a link through email that you can preorder/pay through. We will have them ready for you to grill when you arrive!
*Please note, just the cowboys get to ride the horses. we do not currently offer rides to guests.
