"This was a positive surprise! I guess many probably try to find accommodation along E134, but a detour to Vikedal for this hotel can certainly be worth it. I have stayed at several hotels during corona-times, but the breakfast here certainly was the best so far. The exterior of the hotel might seem second class, but the room we had and the nice river view was great. Absolutely recommended!"

"When it says parking not near hotel it means you have to walk a trail for about 200 yards to the cabin. Was not marked and made it very difficult to find the cabin..we ended up locating it by matching houses in the area to the picture on VRBO and one in our party made his way over walls to find the front door and key to make sure it was our property then walked it back to our car.
