Great location, friendly and helpful staff, included breakfast options were great, everything clean & tidy and working correctly! 100% would recommend - to groups of young people interrailing etc, older solo travellers, even families with young children there are excellent provisions for. "This hostel was a fun place to stay while visiting Chur. They’ve done an excellent job renovating the old prison and everything is very new. It was a quirky stay. The rooms are pretty small, but that’s to be expected, they used to be jail cells. "

"Just what I was hoping for as a first youth hostel experience for my grandsons. Quirky, clean, fellowship and fun! Sheets are included in the price, but towels are extra. We recommend the Turkish style restaurant nearby for dinner...Sara's Bistro. The Breakfast buffet at the hostel was plentiful. Would go back again."

"All was good except we found some broken glass on the floor which a friend's 3 year old daughter managed to put in her mouth thinking it was snow/ice. Pool area very nice, good hot tub area. View was of a car park and petrol station rather than mountains as described but COOP was handy for food, as very well stocked."
