There are 3 heaters and electric mattress warmers to ensure warmth in the cold months. They were very effective. If the Northern Lights had been visible during our stay, we would have had the perfect view. "We have really enjoyed our week just outside Selfoss. The cabin was cosy and equipped with all the essentials, and an excellent base to explore southern Iceland from. We even got to see the Northern Lights from just outside the cabin! Petra was an accessible, friendly and super helpful host, she kindly went above and beyond to help us when our flight was cancelled due to a bad storm. We would highly recommend!"

"Beautiful property about 20 minutes away from Selfoss. Fully equipped kitchen, heated floors, and enough space for a group or family. Thorsteinn was very quick with communication and very patient with our questions. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights during our stay and will always have fond memories of Iceland!"

"Greg and Magnea were amazing hosts. Their property is absolutely perfect for a big group like ours were. Plenty of rooms so you can spread the group out while also having big community areas to all hang out in. You could also spread out and have smaller group hangs outs as well. I could go on and on about how amazing this place was!"

"Absolutely perfect spot for our winter visit to Iceland. Made it easy for day trips to Reykjavik, Blue Lagoon, waterfalls, Vik, and more. The home was warm, clean, well set-up, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Appreciated the shovel and sidewalk de-icing salt. Great communication with the owner, and no issues whatsoever. "Klara and Harold are very welcoming. We enjoyed are stay. They have a beautiful farm. We were able to see sights on the Golden Circle, go to Hvolsvollur, and Seljalandsfoss from this location. We also visited the animals on the farm."

"We spent 3 nights at this cottage for exploring parts of the Golden Circle. The cottage was a perfect home away from home. It had the necessary amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The dining and living room areas were a decent size for a family of 4-6 people. The bunk bed and pillows weren’t the most comfortable.
