"Beautiful property in a wonderful scenic setting, with a path from the door down to the bay below. Good views (when the sea mist lifted) of the sea, all the way to Le Havre. Would have been a lovely quiet setting, surrounded by pastures and trees, although we couldn't use our sun balcony for a couple of hours due to a group of 20 to 30 people (guests of the proprietor?) having a very noisy outside buffet party directly underneath us"

"Venant de Paris, ces cinq jours ont été une véritable coupure et nous ont permis d'arpenter les grandes et belles plages de Normandie de Honfleur à Houlgate.La plage de Villerville a un attrait particulier puisque l'on peut s'y promener très loin (quand la marée le permet) le long de petites falaises avec des vols de mouettes ou goëlands rappelant la fameuse toile de Nicolas de Staël. L'accès est tout proche de la maison qui est très bien agencée et très agréable."

"The cottage is in a beautiful location and a great “home base” from which to enjoy Normandy. The pool is well kept and the dishwasher and washing machine very convenient! The sunsets over the sea were gorgeous. Please note that although the VRBO listing said there was air conditioning, there was not. This turned out not to be an issue during our stay (in mid June) because the weather cooperated. However, I note this for future renters who might have a medical condition, etc. that would be...

"Beautiful place to stay, especially the gardens with great views! Villerville is a beautiful village. Weather could have been better, but our sons were verry happy with the excellent WiFi! Parking can be a bit of a problem, but every day we managed to find a spot. Thanks Mathilde for your hospitality, we enjoyed it very much!"
