"A renovated old farmhouse, Aux Mesanges was a cool place to stay. We felt the age while climbing the creaky stairs and seeing the wood beams, yet we also enjoyed the modern renovations. Laurent was super nice, chatting with us about the home and even allowing us to practice our not-so-great French. "We were booked for Aug.29. On aug. 27 I received a message from Chateau de Seurre that there was an error in the payment method and to contact them to avoid cancellation. I called but got their answering machine. I messaged them that I would pay cash if credit card was a problem for them. I got no response. I went to the Chateau on the 28th, the day before my reservation to make sure there was no problem. The gate was locked and had a message saying that they were fully booked. I called again...
