"The house in Montaulieu has beautiful views from the roof top terrace and a shaded terrace in the small garden in front of the house, which was very nice during the heat. The interior has a nice modern touch with a spacious kitchen and living room and a ensuite bedroom upstairs. Another bedroom is in the basement and has a separate entrance. We were very well taken care of from the friendly owner who lives next door. He arranged a man to repair the wifi that didn't function very well first but...

"Satisfactory stay. Road is extremely loud until about 1am and it took some getting used to. Vehicles drive at about 130kmph a matter of 20 metres from the gite. This woke me up a few times. There is no air conditioning. The advert says there is air conditioning. The master bedroom had a single fan, but it seriously struggled against the July heat. "We (a family of 5) stayed at this beautiful and stylish villa for almost a week. The house fit with the description and is reconstructed in a modern way, but the pool was 100 meter away at a nice place between the vinyards. Carole was very supportive, so that we could enjoy a fantastic week."

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming villa. We loved everything about it — quiet and private with several outside sitting areas, a pool, grill, etc. Also easy free parking at the site. Inside, very comfortable with everything you might need in dishes and cooking utensils, good bed and shower. The owner was very kind — responded to emails very quickly and stopped by on our first evening to be sure everything was okay. I wish I could have stayed much longer! And I will try to stay there again...
