"We stayed here for one night after arriving earlier in Cherbourg. The property was easily found using a sat nav. The owner, Roger, was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable with refreshments available. Having asked prior to our arrival, we had a fantastic 3 course evening meal expertly prepared and presented by his young chef Brenda. Breakfast in the morning was a continental offering with the option of freshly cooked bacon and scrambled eggs. Everything was spot on....

"Two black marks against my name on our arrival as we arrived a whole 5 mins before time - and I perched on a stool in the hallway to say hello to the dog to be told I mustn’t sit on the stool as it’s an antique!! Welcome !! "Bought groceries in the am....went out for the day. Came back in the evening to cook dinner. Unfortunately the refrigerator wasn't working. The meats we purchased were warm. We had to eat ramen noodles for dinner. The owner was very responsive and quickly replaced the refrigerator. "

"The only negative aspect about our staying is there’s no wifi and it’s a 30min of walk till the bus parking to reach Mont St+Michel after or 45 of walk till there. The rest is perfect"
