The problems began before we arrived when we realised that from the nearest metro station we would have to climb either 14 flights of stairs or walk up a large hill - all with suitcases. While the ad mentions the “heights” of Old Lyon, there is no mention of the accessibility issues in reaching the apartment. When you finally reach the building, there are 3 more staircases through a dilapidated building to reach the flat....

"Pro-Location is excellent, 50 steps to bars & restaurants, 70 steps to shopping strip, property unit on ground floor, unit is quite equipped with basic needs. Cons-Can’t open the window due to strong urine odour from curb outside perhaps too closed to bars ? Pillows/blankets/bath towels show signs of wear. Credit to Management, communication was great, prompt response to a couple of issues on check in & it was resolved quickly, thanks again. Overall, we had a great stay."

"The apartment is located on a lovely square and a perfect area of town. The apartment is very well equipped, particularly the kitchen, with everything from coffee, tea, spices, cookware, utensils...etc. It is also a short walk to the other side of the Saone and many of the historical sights!
