Only drawback is that it is a bit of a drive to many of the Algarve towns and Altura, while charming and cute, did not offer much to do. This is not a complaint, just something to consider if you are looking for more liveliness. Mirian was wonderful and very accommodating. Truly loved this property and would gladly go back if the opportunity presented itself. Highly recommended!"

"We had a lovely stay for 2 weeks in August 2024. The villa was perfect for 2 families, plenty of space for everyone individually but also to all be together. The pool was a good size for the group (5 adults and 5 kids) and all the things we needed, plus extras, were there for us to use. "We stayed as a party of 9 (4 adults, 4 teens and a 10 year old). I think it’s useful for other potential guests to know the following, based on our experience: 1. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs are only suitable for small children or anyone under 3ft! They are basically loft rooms, no windows, I lost track of the number of times we banged our heads on the roof and trying to make the beds when you can’t stand up is difficult. 2. "We came on holiday September 2024 as a family of 9 guests. When booking the Villa we thought the pictures and write up looked great for our needs. But the Villa was even more impressive than the photos could portray. Very clean and well maintained. Bedrooms well spaced out across the Villa and lots of social areas, so we never felt cramped. "The villa had all the facilities we required. Lovely pool, comfy beds and plenty of space for everyone. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The villa is well situated and you can walk to beaches and restuarants but a car is ideally needed for shopping and to explore the area. The only thing to mention is the villa would benefit from a few more sunbeds or softer seating in the pool area as the current ones are short in number and getting a little tired.
