"Quiet and nice area within walking distance of the Colosseum. Apartment was adequate for a family of 4 (two kids) and the property recommendations for dinning in the area was spot on. Check in and out process was a breeze as well. "

"Communication from Katherina was great. Check in with Fabrivio was seamless, yet informative. Joy at the desk was very helpful too. The hotel is in an alley between two busy streets, though this added to the charm of being so near the activities. It’s an old building, in a very old city. Better than expected. Great restaurants feet away from the hotel front door. We enjoyed our time. "

"Great central property within walking distance ( some may take 20 min or so) of key sites. Near good restaurants and taxi rank. When coming back to Rome this would be the area I would look to stay if seeing the sites. Host was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our weekend."

"Staff was wonderful, and a great souce for information. The apartment had 18th centry charm, but still had all of the necessities. Just minutes to the St. Peter's Bacilica. Easy to obtain transportation."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement. Il est certes petit mais très fonctionnel. La petite cuisine contient l'essentiel pour quelques jours de voyage à 2 personnes. La salle de bain est petite mais fonctionnel. Le lit était confortable. L'appartement est très bien situé, près du centre ville à pieds (environ 15-20 minutes) et proche des transports en commun. "10 STARS experience all the way. This apartment hotel is just amazing. First off and most significant, the personnel - Carlos, Lucky and Nadia are just out of this world amazing people. The location next to the Spanish Steps is hard to beat. Supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, etc. within a few minutes walk. We’ll be definitely coming back to this amazing place."

"Overall property is very good except for water leaking to floor when showering but otherwise hotel is highly recommended. It is beside a subway station and also near a bus station. The hotel is very spacious and view from the balcony is beautiful 😍 "

"This is an excellent "budget" hotel. A short (5 min or so) walk from the Roma Termini train stations, and major attraction are also within a walking distance. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, plus multiple dining options right outside of the hotel. The only con is that the doors are very thin, and since our room was right next to the concierge desk, there was constant buzzing (all guests need to ring the door to enter the building). Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you for offering this opportunity to explore Rome! "

"We chose the Best Western Plus Hotel Universo as it is walking distance from the Rome train station. We were upgraded to a larger room with sofa bed. It suited us very well. The breakfast had a lot of options and staff was very attentive with coffee orders. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant which served some Roman classics and it was good. Overall, would stay again and recommend this hotel. "
