"We absolutely loved Francisco’s holiday villa, it was clean and very welcoming with a fantastic pool, my family and I enjoyed the pool immensely. The bedrooms were great with very comfortable and clean matresess and the bathrooms were well set out with an en suite next to the master bedroom. "Property beautiful and full off character. A lot of steps throughout so not suitable for anybody with mobility issues. Everything you need for cooking is there and plenty of dining areas. Property does not have air con , so house very warm but overall a fantastic experience. Montecorto a beautiful village ."

"We would definitely stay here again. We found most of the previous reviews were pretty accurate. If you have a small enough car, you can drive to apartment, but it is not for the faint of heart. Otherwise it’s a simple 5 min walk (or less). The pool and the views were amazing. We found the town to be very nice without a lot of visitor traffic but good food and a few small stores. Nice mirador worth the 20 min walk. We did it for sunrise. The care taker was VERY helpful and responsive. "

"Villa was simply awesome, cozy and well furnished. Joe our host was prompt and courteous. Views from the porch are outstanding. The drive from the main road is exciting and once you arrive it's worth the adventure. One let down was the pool was not heated as advertised and is in need of maintenance. Overall our stay was amazing, kudos to Joe our host and Pedro our gardner."

"Rural area, near small village, rural sounds, birdsong, sheep, donkeys, and some landworking. Not intrusive at all. Typical old Spanish cortigo, beams, tiles, old furnishings and decor. Comfortable, well equipped, lovely owners. Great private garden with lovely pool and outdoor dining area. One point, If you do not speak Spanish, get clear directions prior to getting to Spain as house is some 5km out of Cortes on the edge of a smaller village, Canada del Real Tesoro."

"This property is beyond what you see in the pictures. It was spectacular. The views can not be captured in photos. The property owner Aurora met us there and was so kind. She even brought us fresh eggs. The property is remote and quiet. It was truly a refreshing get away. We could not have asked for more. Didn't want to leave."
