"Perfect for a relaxing all-inclusive short break. We were there in October and the pool areas, which are lovely, were still busy. There is access to the sea though the beach itself is quite stony. The buffet food at the resort is good quality and provided enough variety during the three days we were there that we didn't feel the need to book one of the a la carte restaurants. The hotel offers a bus trip to Cefalu and the town is most definitely worth visiting - you will ant to spend longer...

"This hotel was set right on the water with a private beach, kayaks, and paddle boat. Our room was very large, and all the rooms have their own balcony. The hotel is very quiet because nobody is above or below you in another room. It's so easy to drive into Cefalu and park, and the hotel has its own parking lot. The breakfast was fine, rather basic, but overall, we loved the setting right on the ocean and would happily stay again. "

We stayed 6 days. Never got tired of walking to every meal and just enjoying the atmosphere. Hike to the Castle and Greek temple by just walking from the hotel. A truly great experience. "Beautiful hotel but no air conditioning and no wifi in the room, front desk staff didn’t care about out comfort whatsoever. Absolutely worst experience we had in several years. I would definitely not recommend this hotel or using Hotels.com, their site is not accurate and they don’t seem to care either."

"I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"Great views at breakfast but not in room. Staff was courteous, prompt, and breakfast felt catered. It was nice being just outside of the main streets, making walks into Cefalu easy (hilly), and giving us peace and quiet for sleeping. The walls are a little thin, you can sometimes hear people in the hallway. "

"Great spot on the outskirts of Cefalù, approx 15 mins walk into to centre, nice beach 20 mins walk. Hotel modern, great friendly staff at reception, all good 👍"

"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Room and hotel very clean. Pool is lovely with a range of seating to suit everyone. Breakfast is excellent both food and saff. Coffee is strong. Lunch and dinner are both delicious, however i think the menus need more of a selection. Pizza and local beers were the highlight. A special mention to Antonio at dinner service. "We had a super 2 weeks in this villa. Giuseppe is a brilliant host. From day 1 communication was helpful and prompt. All information was passed on at the relevant point. He could not have been better. The villa is really well-equipped and comfortable. The pool was a real boon when the weather was hot and was well maintained and cleaned every few days. The villa was easy to find and was well placed to access a lot of local sites. Thank you, Giuseppe for a fantastic holiday."

A fabulous stay in the Sicilian mountains

"This was a really fabulous week in Caltavuturo. Susanne has a created a welcoming and beautifully styled home and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. There are many hidden places around the property to relax, whether it’s by the pool, on the terrace on the long outdoor sofa or upstairs on the terrace outside the main apartment. The kitchen is really well stocked with appliances. There are two fridges so plenty of storage space. The Weber grill was perfectly clean and easy to use. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and nice and cool with AC. We had a couple of minor problems which were swiftly resolved by the Susanne and her wonderful helpers, Leah and Vincenzo. They couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Overall, this was a lovely holiday with our kids who are 9 & 11. It would also be really suitable for slightly older kids who would have space to roam. If I had any hesitation at all it would be the amount of driving required as the property really is quite remote, but that was also a benefit so we could have a quiet week. I am sure we will be back and thank you to Susanne again for a lovely stay."

"We had an amazing experience at Casale Margherita. Very easy to get in touch with via WhatsApp, scheduled taxi rides for us to surrounding areas for a fee. The gentlemen that drove us to a surrounding city and again to the bus station the next day was so wonderful, brought us for a traditional Sicilian coffee and cannoli nearby. The pool was incredible. Would highly recommend. "
