"Charlie's Place was delightful! A cozy retreat - clean and just as pictured with comfortable furnishings and an amazing shower. It offers a terrific lake view from inside and out. After a day of exploring the town, we enjoyed coming back to relax with a drink and snacks on the front patio. Great location, easy to get to local dining and shopping - Lake City Creamery was a favorite. Bren was easy to work with and a great host who tries to think of everything you might need for a comfortable getaway. Looking forward to staying again."

"This is an amazing hotel, in my opinion. It's not fancy - such as no morning breakfast- , but the rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious! The staff is very nice and helpful as well. "

"A nice little place for a winter retreat! The heat kept us nice and warm despite the frigid temperatures outside and it was fun to wake up each morning to a wide view of the frozen lake. Very quiet neighborhood, at least in February. I will note that you have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the only bathroom. It wasn't a big deal for us because it was just my wife, our 1-year-old, and me, but bigger families may want to plan accordingly. The host was very communicative and generous. Highly recommended!"
