"We stayed two nights on a trip to the Sand dunes… It was centrally located in Crestone, convenient to the market and coffee shop. Would stay here again. "We had a great time at this VRBO- it was super close to Salida and about an hour outside of Cañon City which meant we had plenty to do! The decor was beautiful and very well maintained. I’d say the only drawback was that we had some difficulty sleeping with the unfamiliar sounds of the road nearby and the heater kicking on/off. The flood lights near the entrance were required to stay on at all times and the coverings on the door were sheer so light was still let into the space. Other than that...

"The best thing about this property is the upstairs porch. Wonderful views of the sunset and so many stars at night! The owner of this property pays a lot of attention to detail. Coffee and filters are provided as well as tea and a little dish of mints when you arrive. There was also a separate electric kettle, which was a nice touch. The place smells brand new and they were individual bottles of shampoo, soap, conditioner, etc. if you’re going to Crestone, stay here if you can!"

"This was our first Christmas to be just the two of us in 20 years of being together. The cabin was clean and well furnished. This by far was the cabin with more to offer than I have ever seen. There is a large book and DVD collection. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and spices and everyday needs. We hung out at the cabin on Christmas Day and then ventured into Salida on the day after Christmas. This is an amazing area and the views are just stunning. "
