"The property is a small horse and cattle ranch with a hotel and restaurant. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch, but they will do room service for dinner, offering very limited menu. The property is a couple of km off the main highway, along a rough, washboard gravel road. We did enjoy the horses, and the many birds on and near the site. "

The outdoor patio, surrounded by lush potted greenery, adds to the charm, creating a relaxed and inviting space. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal or coffee while soaking in the local atmosphere and people-watching. The hotel also features a swimming pool, which appeared clean and well-maintained, though I didn’t have the chance to use it. It’s a great perk for those looking to cool off and unwind. A standout aspect of my stay was the warm and accommodating staff. The employees were kind, attentive, and always willing to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made me feel welcome. Overall, Hotel María Isabel strikes a great balance between comfort, convenience, and atmosphere.
