Songbird Cabin is a charming two-bedroom, one-bath, situated 18 miles northwest of Boone, NC. Nestled on a 26-acre Christmas tree farm, it offers stunning views of Grandfather Mountain and Beech Mountain. This cabin is a delightful getaway in every season. It features an outdoor Blackstone griddle, and firewood is supplied for the wood-burning fireplace. Don't forget to check out our new Cardinal's Nest Craft Shop during your visit. I can’t say enough positive things about our stay at Songbird! It was everything we dreamed of for our “Christmas Mountain Trip”. Bianca is the best host we have ever had. The songbird cabin is so cozy. We hoped for snow during our stay & we got it! The views were amazing! This is definitely our new favorite cabin and we are already planning our next trip!

Perfect getaway
My wife and I stayed at the songbird cabin for the week to get away from the city and could not have picked a better place. The location is beautiful, quiet and only 30 mins from Boone. The cabin itself was cozy, comfortable, and clean. It has everything you need to grill outside on the deck and enjoy the views. It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at this lovely cabin. It's tucked away in the woods and very quiet. The view is amazing. We even got to see a little snow which made my trip.

Always a great visit
This was our fourth stay at Songbird Cabin and it was as lovely as ever. Could not ask for a more well equipped and clean cabin, it feels like a cabin without lacking any modern amenities or conveniences. Looking through the guestbook it is clear that we are not the only family that comes back year after year! Bianca was a great host, highly recommend a stay.

My wife and I had a great long weekend getaway at the Christmas tree farm. We got snowed in and just enjoyed the cozy cabin for the weekend. Diane was a gracious host and stayed in contact when needed. Would stay again!

This was our second time staying at Songbird Cabin. We came to see the Fall colors. The cabin is always clean and well maintained, we love the peace and quiet. You just can't beat the area or the views. We will be back!

Wonderful Mountain Getaway
This was a cozy, comfortable cabin with amazing, changing mountain views. A great location to get away, while still being able to drive to restaurants, wineries, breweries, and many hiking options if you choose (we chose to eat in during the pandemic).

Serenity and Beauty
Songbird Cabin offered wonderful ever changing views based on the weather as well as peaceful serenity. We enjoyed walks through the property’s tree farm. The cabin had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great place to celebrate our anniversary!
