"Our stay for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary was exceptional in every way! The views of the land are breath taking, walking around the beautiful property and enjoying the pool was relaxing (we had good sunny weather..the pool was on the chilly side but we and eventually 2 other couples all went in for a refreshing dip!) We really enjoyed the intimate tour of the wine making area and did a tasting, bought a 20 year tawny and 2 vintage ports ( we already had been in Porto and the valley...

"Our arrival at the front door coincided with the manager walking out to switch on the central heating. No introductions were offered or made which left us feeling rather underwhelmed. Our room was exceptionally clean although a little tired and in need of some maintenance.
