"I book this property because I needed an over night stay during my road trip through Portugal. My only regret not staying longer. Staff: Friendly, nice and very accommodating. Accommodations: the property has a unique design with a full service restaurant on the roof. The rooms are just pictured and surprisingly comfortable. "The staff was immediately friendly and kind. They helped us upgrade our room, leave our bags before check-in, and gave us a tour of the guesthouse. The kitchen was clean and big. The room was beautiful and comfortable. There is no soap or shampoo but it was okay as we brought our own. "

"Safe, walkable, and very close to everything I wanted to walk to. The property sent me a code to enter the bldg the day before my arrival. I arrived at 1:30pm or so, and since my room was almost ready I was given the option to wait in the kitchen, which I did. Therevis no lift and my room was on the 2nd floor but staff always offered me a hand with my bag. Room was minimal but sufficient and efficient. AC worked and wifi worked. "It’s a family business, very peaceful and clean environment. Owner is very friendly. The garden is beautiful and breakfast was delicious. It was homemade and the coffee was the best. Highly recommended."

"When we arrive was a town local band right inthe entrance and 3 tables with old people drinking and so.e people was fight. Was a scary town and scary town. We leave the town right away. Nothing like is in the google, Home app or boking app."

"Hemos estado alojados 4 noches en el apartamento deluxe y ha sido una experiencia fantastica e inmejorable. Los anfitriones - Pablo y Judith - son increíbles y están pendientes de todo lo que puedas necesitar para hacer la estancia más agradable. La ubicación es ideal si quieres hacer excursiones a 1 hora en coche en el día por la zona (Coimbra, Obidos, Nazare, Aveiro, etc). "Lovely Guest House, with a very comfortable room. Breakfast is excellent! A pleasure to stay there! "

"Big room in a quiet old manor/estate. A bit hard to find, google did okay however the entrance was not signed very well. Stairs to room, good breakfast and quiet area. Grounds are dated but the house is clean and spacious. Host was helpful offering maps of the area and ideas for restaurants. "

"The host was very welcoming and it was nice and quiet - exactly what we needed our first night in Portugal to sleep off the jet lag."

"The place is good enough for the price but, the rooms have no mosquito netting on the windows so you can't sleep with the window open. We got badly bitten in the night by mosquitos and there is no aircon as expected for the price, the room did not even have a fan. We went home a day early because we did not want another night. "

"The house was great with plenty of space. The area was stunning and very peaceful with good walks nearby. Coimbra was easy to get to. Martine and Dirk (and their dogs) were great hosts and very helpful. They provided comprehensive information on places to visit, walks, restaurants etc. which made it very easy to plan our stay."

"We really loved this out of the way find which proved a good base for discovering the delights of central Portugal: Gois with river beach, Figueira da Foz, Coimbra, all in good striking distance (with car) and Denise has plenty of further suggestions. Handy supermarket, nice garden and relaxing place to chill (as my daughter says)."
