"A nice villa in an excellent location for all the excellent beaches, but in need of some upgrading. External Walls need painting, some of the bathrooms need updating and the dishwasher and toaster didn’t work. The owners did get someone in immediately to repair the dishwasher , but it still leaked when they had gone."

"We had a wonderful stay in Father’s House Beach House. The house was very clean and modern with a lovely pool & garden. It was the perfect place to relax. We walked through the forest to the beach every day. Steep climb but worth it. Huge, mainly deserted beach which was really picturesque with amazing sunsets. "Really enjoyed our week's stay. Fantastic property, clean very well appointed and the host was very kind in leaving us some items for arrival. Comporta area was very quiet which for us was perfect, no need for reservations at restaurants even at the weekend. Due to the off season it meant driving out to dinner to Comporta of other places which were all within 10 minutes."

"Our family stayed here at the very end of our Portugal trip. This house was perfect for all of us ranging in age from 8 to 88. It is a lovely home and very clean. "Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”).
