Excellent service, free parking, very good breakfast buffet, thankfully the restaurant was open for dinner. Only discomfort was the hard mattress, which is common in Portugal, but difficult to have a good night's sleep.

The hotel was very clean and the front desk staffing were very friendly and accommodating. I would say the only thing lacking was that their was no shampoo or conditioner in the suite bathroom. But overall, a good hotel.

Great value
Very spacious hotel that included a nice breakfast. While we didn't use the outdoor pool/cabana area, it looked like a great setup. The views from our balcony were great, although it was located close enough to private residences that you could hear them in the day time (construction, etc.) The shower water temperature would fluctuate pretty constantly, which was a bit unpleasant. When using the sink, the water would dribble down the spout and onto the counter, which was a bit strange. You could also easily hear other guests while in the bathroom which is not unique to this hotel, but also not preferred. The front desk was nice and pleasant. They were able to call us a taxi (as the taxi did not speak English) easily within minutes. We tried a pork sandwich and a hamburger from the bar, which were large portions. They were tasty but not great, but a good value nonetheless. All in all it was a nice stay and we would come back.

Det var som om hotellet stannat i tiden. Inredningen och layouten var säkert toppmodern på 70 eller 80-talet. Men det känns som att det inte hänt något sedan dess. Underhållet på byggnad och det runtom var också lite sisådär.

Øya en fantastisk flott, hotellet sånn passe ...
Hotellet er et overdimensjonert betonghotell fra 70-tallet. Med alt for mange rom i forhold til besøkende, har de nok en utfordring. Men det er rent overalt på rom, fellesområder og ved bassenget. Det hotellet kaller en restaurant, er kun en bar, og de klarer ikke å lage det lille som står av eventuell mat på menyen. Frokosten var stakkarslig enkel. Sengene var gode. Ellers er Santa Maria en flott liten øy å reise til, og anbefales. Ren, blomstrende og frisk. Befolkningen er blide, hjelpsomme, imøtekommende og oppmerksomme. Et par gode restauranter er å finne i sentrum av Vila do Porto. Men litt langt å gå dit om man vil ta seg litt vin til maten. Øya en fantastisk flott, hotellet sånn passe ...

Hotel ohne Gaststätte, abends Selbstbedienung an der Snack Bar. Nach jedem Getränk muss man klingeln. Keine 4 Sterne. Ohne Mietwagen bist du verloren zwischen Kühen, kleffenden Hunden und quakenden Fröschen. Als einzigstes Hotel am Platz, dh in den Feldern kann man sich das scheinbar leisten. Das Zimmer war super. Dankeschön trotzdem der netten Dame am Empfang, die mir spät abends noch einen Mietwagen organisiert hat.

Estadia decorreu sem problemas. Boas comodidades e pequeno almoço variado. Apenas um reparo para o que se nota ser a necessidade de manutenção em alguns espaços do hotel. Afinal é um 4 estrelas e deveria aparentar isso mesmo.
