"Such a cool hotel! Perfect location for ferry, Viking village, bus stop to Voss, etc. Love the mountain views from the skylights in the room and Viking-ish decor. The breakfast was standard, but I really enjoyed my dinner at the hotel’s fjord view restaurant. "

"Absolutely perfect little home to just get away and enjoy the sights of Norway! Was originally supposed to be just me but I ended up making some friends at the hostel I stayed at in Oslo so they tagged along on the drive with me. Totally forgot to change the reservation on the way there but Ragnar was more than welcoming when we arrived!! When we got there he gave me the run down of things in great detail which was very helpful and even had a little gift for us! I wish I could keep this little gem hidden but I want everyone to be able to stay here and enjoy it just as I did!! 100 out of 10 recommend staying here!! "

"We loved our stay! We had a beautiful view of the fjord and loved the village of Undredal. The house was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was wonderful and we enjoyed renting kayaks and paddling along the fjord. The grocery store had what we needed but be aware that they close at 5:00 and aren’t open on Sundays. There isn’t an outlet in the bathroom that we could find so we had to dry our hair in the hall where there wasn’t much light, but we made it work. Loved having a washer and dryer. The only problem we had was the road to the house is very narrow and it was blocked 3 different times by this farmer and his equipment and vehicle. I thought we were plenty patient waiting for him to get out of the way, but one time I had to toot the horn because he was no where in sight and boy was he mad!! We stayed 5 nights and took day trips from this location. It was perfect."

"Stalheim hotel is an amazing location with absolutely gorgeous views of the valley. The hotel staff was amazing as well. The bartender personally made me some mulled wine that he prepped from scratch on a particularly cold evening. Had an amazing experience that I won't soon forget."
