"We had such a lovely stay at L'Echappee Belle. The rooms are comfy, spacious and clean and the house and grounds are beautiful, with lots of fruit and veg growing throughout the grounds which our hostess Sophie uses for her excellent guest dinners and breakfasts. The swimming pool is wonderful and the house is located in a quiet area close to some lovely villages which are a 10-minute bike ride away. Would gladly come back here, thank you Sophie! "Beautiful place to say with spacious gorgeous amenities,great welcome and lovely breakfast.We arrived Tuesday so most local eateries were shut .There is a reasonable restaurant 12 kilometres away but we opted for a straight forward dish at the local walkable pizzaria which was fine .In fact there is free use of the kitchen & Madame keeps a healthy stock of wine & beer that you can purchase.It would have been far more sensitive to bring our own food - next time if it’s a Monday / Tuesday."
