The apartment was very modern and the balcony was very nice. The location was a little disappointing. We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday. Then had little time to run to a supermarket to get staples, but we made it. Good thing too because everything was closed on Sunday and I do men everything! We thought staying in the Museum Quarter would be a great area but it is not a vibrant area. Other than walking distance to the museums there was little else to do, not many restaurants or bars to choose from. We went to the same cafe, Ulrich’s, across the street most days, thank goodness it was there. It was a great place with very helpful servers.
The apartment was clean and modern. It could have used a few more cooking utensils but it was adequate. The bed was pushed against the wall so one person had to crawl out of the bottom. There were no nightstands so charging your phone was an issue and not having a glass of water bothered me. The lighting was problematic, lots of bright spot lights with no dimmers and no way to isolate the areas being lit. If my husband needed light on the small desk by the door, I also had to have full light in the couch area whether I wanted it or not. The bathroom lighting was the opposite, so dim that it was hard to apply makeup !
